This document aims to inform you about the processing of personal data carried out within the framework of the matchmaking platform operated by Domuse.

We attach particular importance to the protection of your data and ensure that it is processed with the greatest care.

1. Introduction

This privacy policy applies to:

  • the Domuse mobile application (hereinafter "Domuse"), intended for individuals who book services,
  • the Domuse Pro mobile application (hereinafter "Domuse Pro"), intended for providers who offer their services.

Its purpose is to inform users about:

  • how their personal data is collected and processed,
  • the rights they have regarding this data,
  • the identity of the data controller,
  • the recipients of the collected data.

2. General Principles

In accordance with European Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), data collection and processing comply with the following principles:

  • Lawfulness, fairness and transparency : data is only collected and processed with the explicit consent of the user.
  • Purpose limitation : collection and processing are carried out for specific and legitimate purposes.
  • Data minimization : only strictly necessary data is collected.
  • Storage limitation : data is kept only for the necessary duration.
  • Integrity and confidentiality : technical and organizational measures ensure data security.

3. Personal Data Collected and Processed

3.1 Individual Users (Domuse)

Mandatory data collected:

  • Last name and first name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Home address for service delivery
  • Occasional location data (if authorized by the user, to find a nearby provider)
  • Payment information (via Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay – not stored by Domuse)

Optional data:

  • Profile photo
  • Reviews and ratings left on providers
  • Service preferences (favorite categories, preferred schedules)

Purpose of collection:

  • Enable matchmaking with a provider
  • Facilitate geolocation of services
  • Manage payments and invoicing
  • Send notifications (booking confirmation, reminders, quality monitoring)
  • Personalize the user experience (service suggestions, tailored offers)
  • Ensure security and prevent fraud

3.2 Providers (Domuse Pro)

Mandatory data collected:

  • First name and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Home address
  • Identity documents (national ID card, passport or equivalent)
  • Location data (real-time geolocation to offer nearby assignments)

Optional data:

  • Profile photo
  • Date of birth
  • Payment information (managed exclusively by our secure payment partners, Domuse never has access to complete banking data)

Purpose of collection:

  • Enable matchmaking with individual clients
  • Verify the identity and reliability of the provider
  • Facilitate geolocation of offered services
  • Manage subscriptions (Basic, Premium) and service payments
  • Communicate with providers (notifications, reminders, service information)
  • Ensure security and fight fraud

4. Legal Basis for Processing

  • User consent (registration, use of the application)
  • Contract performance (matchmaking and service provision)
  • Legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention, service improvement)

5. Data Retention Period

  • Account data (individual & provider): 5 years after last use
  • Transaction data: 8 years (legal obligation)
  • Location data: maximum 1 year
  • In case of account deletion: deletion within applicable legal timeframes

6. Data Sharing with Third Parties

Data may only be shared with:

  • Payment providers : Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe (secure payments);
  • Geolocation services : Google Maps API for address entry and location of service addresses. In this context, certain technical data (entered address, GPS coordinates, device identifier) may be processed by Google Ireland Limited. The use of these services is governed by the Google Maps Terms of Use and Google's Privacy Policy;
  • Notification services : Firebase (push notifications);
  • Competent authorities : if required by law.

We never sell your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

7. User Rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Access : view your personal data
  • Rectification : correct your data
  • Erasure : delete your data
  • Portability : retrieve your data
  • Objection : object to certain processing

8. Data Deletion and Account Closure

You can request the deletion of all your personal data and the closure of your account at any time:

  • directly from the application, in the "Account" tab, then "Manage my account",
  • or by writing to us at the following address: contact@domuse.app

Once the request is confirmed, all your data will be deleted within applicable legal timeframes, except for data we are required to retain for legal reasons (e.g., accounting and tax obligations).

9. Data Security

Domuse implements appropriate technical and organizational measures, including:

  • Data encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest
  • Secure access controls
  • Regular monitoring and testing of systems

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The application uses technical identifiers and third-party SDKs to:

  • Remember your preferences
  • Improve the user experience
  • Analyze application usage

No third-party cookies or trackers are used for advertising purposes without your consent.

11. Modifications

This policy may be modified. In the event of a substantial change, you will be notified via an in-app notification.
